The AIARE Avalanche Rescue Course is a 1-day, scenario-based course. Practicing avalanche rescue skills is a crucial part of being a reliable backcountry ski partner. This course will provide each participant with the opportunity to receive professional coaching on their rescue skills.

Course Details
Requirements
Students must be able to travel in avalanche terrain and bring appropriate equipment for traveling on snow. The students must be prepared to spend the day outside in the elements.
Certifications
Our course is certified by the American Institute of Avalanche Research & Education (AIARE) and our guides are trained by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA).
Timeline
The AIARE Avalanche Rescue Course is intended to be retaken on a regular basis in order to stay current in rescue techniques and gear.
Previous Education
This course is recommended for those with their AIARE Level 1 and/or Level 2 certificate.
